Research focus includes the Parkinson's Project investigating prophylactic compounds in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. The Loyalty Project is a social psychology project which investigates Loyalty and pro-social behaviors from the domains of evolutionary biology, psychology/sociology, and theology.

Academically, I was formally trained as a conservation biologist, graduating in 2009 from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Conservation Biology with Summa Cum Laude honors. During my time at ASU, I developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors (ref. John Muir). Under the auspice of the university and guidance of field-biologist David E. Brown, I was a member of expeditions to various locations in Arizona for the purpose of collecting specimens and data for ongoing research in regional flora and fauna.

Aravaipa Canyon (October 24, 2008): recording changes of species and frequencies of fish population through the 11-mile canyon river for AZ Fish & Game data bank
